The article presents a look Colombian trade performance in the period 2009-2012 where it is evident a good dynamism of exports achieved when growing 22.4%, outpacing imports which managed to grow 21.6% in the same period evidence, allowing a consolidation a surplus of the trade balance .However, even despite the large growth in exports it is appreciated that its composition has not changed and it is still exporting primary products. Also, an analysis of the Colombian foreign trade is done one year after signing the FTA with the United States where the figures in exports in this period have been less than favorable to present a fall of -9.7%. |
