This paper examines the biblical and theological concept of "mercy" in the Bull Misericordiae Vultus. This article studies the main landmarks of the Old and New Testaments, decanting fundamental accents from these data, perform a theological hermeneutics that allows discover in the Bull the corresponding guidelines that are crossed. The pastoral intentions of this Bull are linked with the underlying theology. The Trinitarian, Christological and Ecclesiological relations form the framework on which the pastoral action proposed by the Bull. |
