The following job is enrolled in the area of communication and citizenship and rests
on an informative magazine to publicize the rights and duties of the refugee population
in Quito.
The magazine seeks to provide tools on the rights and duties incumbent upon people
living in refugee status, because among so many problems, the lack of access to
information about this is a significant factor. People can analyze, understand, and
appropriate these documents for their benefit.
So to build a more democratic and egalitarian society, as guaranteed by the present
Constitution, the central axis is the citizen because according to this regulatory
framework and the rule of law that we take part in, only citizen participation will
ensure its existence. And for the construction of a democratic society, it requires the
application and participation of all citizens which will make sense only when those
involved are informed of all their rights and duties to exercise them.
Thus, here lies the premise of this research work: to provide information to the refugee
population in Quito, to put in evidence their rights and their threats. It is important to
generate, in the news magazine, data to protect the human rights of all refugees in the
city. Only communication allows access to information and knowledge. All these
factors serve to enable the exercise of full citizenship and full implementation and
requirements of human rights and the jurisdictional contemplation of existing laws. |
