This project aims to develop warning system for peak and plate, which will alert drivers of Quito's vehicles through signaling of voice about restriction for circular within the perimeter where applied this measure, same as was adopted from the year 2010 in this city in order to reduce congestion during peak hours since 7.00 am to 9.30 am and since 04.00 p.m. to 07.30 p.m. In its design and implementation was used a GPS module to obtain the vehicle position (latitude and longitude), these coordinates will be processed on the Arduino software and will be compared to previously obtained values to delimit the perimeter restriction set by the Quito's Municipality, this module will be mounted on a Arduino Mega 2560 card, which will perform the main control of the entire alert system, also is included a Real Time Clock (RTC) module to obtain the information of day and time, also will use an audio module that will work with a Micro SD card where tracks are stored, it was also necessary to connect the player to amplifier circuit for better sound perception by the user, once issued alerts.
As for the results obtained from a comparison between the GPS module used to implement the alert's device and the cellphone's GPS was feasible verify that the error rate is 0.001% in length and 0.018% in latitude. |
