Sumario: The Salinerito Community Foundation takes as main objective to include the communities that are in the subtropical area of the province of Bolivar through a communication link, therefore, it is necessary to extend the coverage of the FM Salinerito broadcasting signal in communities that do not receive the modulated signal from the Radio Salinerito FM (89.9 MHz) located in the Province of Bolivar, carrying out the study for the redesign and implementation of the low-power transmitter. The study of the coverage of the broadcasting signal for a new low power modulated frequency transmitter covering several communities of the Guaranda canton and its surroundings for Radio Salinerito FM (89.9 MHz) located in the Province of Bolívar was carried out. The FM broadcasting signal helps the inhabitants of the surrounding communities keep abreast of news and news that happen in the community and improve the distribution of raw material for several typical products of the region. Implementing a Radio Broadcasting Station in Palma Urco to improve and amplify the coverage of several communities with difficult access to media. It was verified that the coverage reaches the communities established through simulations and spectrum analysis, respecting the Broadcasting Technical Regulations. The simulation was performed on the ICS Telecom software and the Antios software used for the simulation of the omnidirectional antenna radiation pattern. With the results obtained, the parameters were calibrated in the transmitter of TEX 20 NV model of low power providing a continuous signal.
