Sumario: The energy that sun gives us can be used to convert it into electricity through photovoltaic modules, having advantages and disadvantages as all electric energy generation, at the present time is a little-known technology in the country that is developing, photovoltaic cells are connected in series and parallel to achieve the power adjusted by manufacturer, nowadays companies produce different models and their prices slowly adapt to consumer economics. Demand for electrical energy in Ecuador is growing each year; the implementation of photovoltaic systems can result in savings on bills due to the decrease in demand for electricity distribution network. The purpose of solar photovoltaic energy connected to distribution network is to generate clean electricity (no contamination, clean, quiet, and safe.) and injecting it to the network via DC / AC inverter that fits perfectly to network into voltage and frequency without producing altering providing security and reliability, the photovoltaic system will be dimensioned depending on parameters studied in this investigation, using cost-effective equipment for future that do not affect system performance, the energy generated will be recorded by a bi-directional meter, analysis of solar photovoltaic surpluses going to allow us to verify the feasibility of the project technically and economically. XXIV At the end of this work describes the conclusions and recommendations based on profitability results obtained for this kind of power generation.
