The present project entitled social business plan, to create an association that create handmade candles for body massage with the purpose of generate income for old people that are in the Isla located in south of Quito.
In the process of this project we'll be able to know the actual situation that old people live in the Ecuadorian society and how the government intent to integrate them.
There are laws that protect older adults as well as economic models such as: The People's Solidarity Economy, which seeks the common good and the equitable distribution of the surplus generated by a given activity to improve the quality of life of involved.
With this background we have designed a new product that could exploit the skills and abilities of older adults in order to obtain a product positioning and capture new markets in this consumerist and competitive society.
We believe that this partnership could be less aggressive with the most vulnerable if they are integrated into innovative entrepreneurial ideas which they can implement their experience in their lifetime. |
