Sumario: The present study analyzed the representation of women in the Ecuadorian state project for the reduction of adolescent pregnancy: National Plan for Strengthening the Family (PNFF) or known as the Family Plan. Through the qualitative methodology of Critical Discourse Analysis (ACD), proposals that are multidisciplinary reflect on three specific axes: gender, discourse and biopolitics, to distinguish and identify the hegemonic discourse coming from the State towards women as social actors. The ACD establishes that it is necessary to understand the structures of the discourse, in the study pointed out it was based on the theory of enunciation, as well as accompanied by the context of the Ecuadorian woman in the last decades; and, finally, the aspects of the representation and validity of the discourse from the institutional framework of the State that was manifested in the project. In this way, it is shown that the PNNF presented an Ecuadorian government that did not guarantee the sexual and reproductive rights of women, but rather reproduced the symbolic patriarchy through the emphasis in its plan of action in which the instrumentalized nuclear family appears Through gender roles and did not consider the sexual and reproductive health of Ecuadorian adolescents as a right and above all promoted the unified abstinence to values as a means
