Sumario: We cannot consider the issue of malnutrition has been positioned strongly in families and/or community, even when the conditions of a warm and quality care in operational health units have improved in recent years. Talking of malnutrition has become normal, something so common in our society, that we do not consider what it really is: a violation of a fundamental right. This has resulted in the establishment of some strategies to prevent and reduce the prevalence of this problem, since it affects a significant number of communities in the country.
