The alliance between media and technology led to the introduction of media discourse in
the daily life of human beings. Managing to position itself as a direct reference of reality;
a pre-filter between the experience and the interpretation of this.
The abrupt appearance of the image in the processes of understanding and social
relationship has succeeded in changing the meaning with which are abstracted, understand,
certain abstract concepts, in particular the definition and imaginary of success. Through
the modification of the signs which represent it, where the stereotype happens to be an
image, an icon that acts as a replacement of the imaginary conceptual textual meaning of
success.
The hyperreality is the replacement of the meaning of the interpretations by models or
stereotypes built in the media, in this way what is perceived as an abstract category, it is
real; it is your symbolization. The purpose of this research is to identify which is the sense
that viewers of "Street 7" associated with the idea of success; taking into account the
theoretical interpretations of the sign and symbol according to the semiotics of Peirce. To
