This paper presents an analysis based on routing protocols simulations within of a vehicular network. Therefore, the objective is to establish a wireless communication between vehicles in the south of Quito, reducing packages loss to ensure the throughput in a Vehicle Ad-Hoc Net (VANET). For that, scenarios with real ways are simulated using georeferenced maps, where the protocol characteristics are compared. These simulations establish the parameters that all the infrastructure will have such as the vehicles speed, the protocol type, the RoadSide Unit (RSU) distance, among others. For this work each VANET section considers the measurement parameters established by IEEE 802.11p communication technology, with their respective domains of communication. To sustain it, simulations are developed in order to demonstrate the integration of the technologies using SUMO, NS2, MOVE and Visual Trace Analyzer tools, accounting for their respective function in the infrastructure. |
