Sumario: Education is currently one of the biggest challenges present in society, given that it has evolved and, in some ways, changed. This is because new study tools have been implemented, most of which are a result of the technological advancements seen nowadays. Educommunication, education 2.0 and audiovisual products are some of the big changes made evident in education. At Roberto Cruz School, these tools have been adopted in a slightly smaller level; however, most members of the school teaching staff are optimistic towards the implementation of these tools as support during lessons. It has been proven that the implementation of audiovisual products in the classroom gives way to a higher level of engagement in students and that it complements the topics chosen by the teacher. Thus, the students become more active during the lesson and it gives way to dialogue, which serves as a tool not only during the education process, but for their development as individuals within society. Generally, it can be said that the implementation of educational videos, photos, Internet, press, television and other media in education carries many advantages because it allows students to observe the world that they´re part of more closely, and also to better understand what happens around them
