Sumario: This work is based on the analysis of the study of "The grammar of the race" by Stuart Hall, where presents the categories of "native", "slave" and especially the "clown". This research is reflected in the Ecuadorian comedy "The happy couple" and rests from the relationship that keeps the double stereotype created and reinforced by this program from the repetitive use of humor. Thus, television, as a means of reproduction, mass, intervenes in a relevant way to explain various aspects relating to the cultural industry and the effects that produce broadcasting in the cultural and social aspects of the man. Such effects can add to the television speech and explain how the mechanism of such content on the basis of the explanation above is built, it is relevant to mention that comedy, in conjunction with the sitcom, create an espectacularizada reality inside the family and matrimonial environment. It is thus that the verbal and nonverbal communication involved as important factors in the process of esterotipación and also for playback of distorted and implicit content for viewers. Considering these points, we performed an analysis critical discourse in several dialogues present in several chapters of the humorous program "The happy couple". In this way, develops the relationship between these aspects and the grammar of the race of Stuart Hall, to be more than a categorization with respect to racial discrimination, also based on the exclusion of gender within relationships. So, the Comic characters that take part in this program legitimize, through humor, several negative behaviors reinforced by this program.
