Sumario: This project is based on the chargeability of distribution transformers, optimizing its energy capacity. Must be considered, planning distribution systems, changes in land use and factors involving a change and increased electrical demand. Power companies of Ecuador require new analysis methodologies applicable to the distribution system in order to optimize the sizing of distribution transformers considering the operational constraints of the problem and optimal planning. The power quality is a parameter that cannot go unnoticed and therefore in the distribution transformers technical losses are greater the larger the size of the team. When selecting equipment optimally considering the margins of overload in these teams for a preset time, it is reducing technical losses by having a smaller transformer
