After making a direct comment on the management of teaching materials in the field of language and literature at the School of General Basic Education City of Otavalo Canton Otavalo, Imbabura Province, is the need to increase the use of educational materials; therefore it is ultimately determined that children do not speak in short sentences Kichwa no tread and do not listen.
The above is confirmed by the results of a survey of children and girls in the sixth year of basic education through work experience of teachers in the education field, we say that today is very common to hear expressions such children and adolescents: I do not know how to say this in Kichwa! The teacher is not looking for ways to implement educational materials to increase the ancestral language Otavaleños we prefer not to talk or not to use words or short phrases, does not interact or share what little children know.
We are presented with the following questions Why not use the Teaching materials to teach children the Kichwa? What are the causes of which they speak, read and write in Kichwa?
We can say that this lack of interest in teaching Quechua children by teachers is one of the most important factors followed by lack of teaching, plus there is no planning for the use of activities aimed at strengthening the materials skills of speaking, reading and write in this language. |
