Sumario: This article deals with the construction of identity of the otakus of the Solanda neighborhood of Quito from the television consumption of the Naruto series. This research starts from the study of the influence of the messages that are transmitted in television programs, because these messages produce that people consume television within their daily lives, and this consumption allows to build a personality in each one of them. The viewers. For this, unstructured interviews were used in this group of young people to learn about the influence of the series on them. And from these interviews elements of the series that were mentioned by each one of them were analyzed, and thus to be able to know about how the Naruto ánime contributes to this group in its way of dressing and thinking, allowing them to form a cultural hybridation identity between the Japanese and the Ecuadorian.
