Sumario: The present research work pretends to study the types of riskstheoretically and practically in each work place of the flower industry TAMO Flowers located in the canton Pedro Moncayo, for which we apply methods that allows us diagnose and evaluate the risks factors. Theoretical frame has the conceptual base for the development of the present research on labor risks, occupational safety and national and international current legal jurisdiction. For diagnosis of the current situation of the flower industry, generalities of the company, study of the internal and external labor environment in order to determine strengthens, opportunities,weaknesses and threats, as well as the analysis of different risks factors at work places, where the collected information could let us determine strategies to counteract bad effects. The development of the proposal presents a model of assessment divided into two phases: labor risks and occupational safety. The first one will evaluate the following risks: mechanic, chemical, biological, ergonomic, physical and psychosocial while the second oneconsists of the evaluation of the adequate use of personal protection equipment. Moreover, a cost and benefit analysis is donein order to determine the feasibility of implementing the proposed model. Finally, the study has conclusions and recommendations, as well as references and annexes that supportsthis research.
