This research aims to show the personal circumstances and external context
surrounding adolescent participation in Advisory Councils, through the experiences and
views of the people involved in this process as staff members of the three National
Advisory Councils of Children and Adolescents.
In the first chapter a theoretical description is provided regarding how adolescents
are understood from the different sciences, focusing on their general characteristics and
especially considering adolescence as a process of change, personal and internal
development, and their integration to a complex social world. |
