Sumario: This project allowed us to determine the feasibility of creating a producer of pitahaya in Sangay, Canton Palora, Morona Santiago Province and marketing in the metropolitan district of Quito. This study began with the determination of general aspects of pitahaya being, this exotic fruit that provides nutritional benefits, this has been the increase in consumption within the country. Market study in which it was determined the historical and current supply and demand which was established with the applied survey and least squares method for projecting the following years was applied was made, in addition to defining market strategies, delimiting the distribution site in the province of Pichincha directly to markets. With technical study could define the optimal place for project implementation this is in Morona Santiago, in the Canton Palora, parish Sangay by climatic factors, access roads, land cost, suppliers and human resources, accounting a competitive advantage. Besides the administrative structure was performed by defining the name of the company as Amazon Exotic fruit and identifying the mission, vision, values, organizational and functional structure, in order to properly manage the company. Similarly, the financial analysis that determined the feasibility of the project was carried out, for this all expenses incurred from the planting, maintenance and harvesting of the fruit to marketing and revenue to be obtained was determined during the useful life of the project. Financial evaluation in which profitability indicators was used to determine time payback was also performed, cost benefit, NPV, IRR, and financial indicators to understand the returns have the project. All this allowed to conclude that it is feasible and advisable to make the creation of the company producing pitahaya.
