Sumario: The present project is based on the analysis and implementation of several modulations for the DVB-S2 standard, for which a general concept will be investigated to determine the operation of the DVB-S2 digital satellite television standard and compatible types of modulations with that standard. Using the Matlab Software, the programming of the APSK modulator and demodulator was implemented and the Simulink graphical simulation environment was used to perform graphical operation tests. This program allows to configure parameters and variables used in the simulation of the DVB-S2 standard. At the end of the programming and development of the APSK modulation and demodulation simulation in the software, the BPSK, QAM, QPSK, PSK and APSK modulations were implemented in the function block in the Simulink environment to determine Which is the most optimal modulation for the DVB-S2 standard, for the analysis and simulation of the DVB-S2 digital satellite television standard for the Telecommunication Laboratory of the Salesian Polytechnic University Campus Sur. Where the results show that the best modulation for the DVB-S2 standard of satellite television is the 32-APSK because it offers us a lower S / N (Signal to Noise Ratio) which is 0.33% compared to the others Modulations and also handles a wrong bit rate of 9.68x10-5.
