In the present project the characterization of the area of medicinal gases in the Hospital
of Specialties Carlos Andrade Marin was carried out in which it was determined that the
components of the same do not allow to have an adequate record and storage of the
consumption data of the medicinal gases.
The design for a monitoring and recording system was determined based on experiences,
standards and criteria, for the oxygen and carbon dioxide that the mass flow measurement
was carried out and in the case of nitrous oxide, it was determined that because it was
very little used the pressure in the main line of the same is registered.
For the mass flow measurement, the Coriolis type technology was used and the materials
that are compatible with each of the medicinal gases for the parts that come into contact
with the gas were identified. For the recording and visualization of the data, the Field
Data Manager Software was used, which allows me to observe the data daily, monthly
and annually.
With the monitoring and registration system, a contrast of information will be made
between the data from the maintenance area guides and the monitoring and registration
system, establishing that there is a difference between two sources of information of
2.89% in oxygen, it is understood that this difference is due to the obsolete form of
quantization by the supplier. For the other gases, more study time will be required to reach
a conclusion. |
