Sumario: In this paper the Land Law and Territories Ancestral analyzed from the perspective of rural and community family farming, which was approved by the National Assembly in second reading on January 7, 2016, at the beginning of this academic work was in Bill. This analysis seeks to determine to what extent meets the expectations of peasant organizations, indigenous peoples and nationalities linked to agriculture. In the Lake of the five chapters the work takes place, starting with the first chapter containing the conceptual framework of development and rural development. In the second chapter some background and context on which the international agricultural model is built and established in our country. The third chapter focuses on the process and conflicts around the new land law. The fourth chapter discusses the impact of the Land Act on indigenous peasant communities in the central highlands of Ecuador. Finally in the fifth set is reached conclusions. The Organic Law on Land and Territories Ancestral subject of this analysis helps to not exceed the hegemony of capital on peasant life and indigenous peoples and nationalities and their territories, on the contrary, deepens inequalities, by allowing new forms of rural concentration not only the land but also land rent.
