The Library Management System for the "Antonio José de Sucre Municipal Educational Unit” has as its main function to keep control of the information generated by the student, teacher and external researcher when using the library services available to the library of the educational institution.
The SGB will automate the needs of customers and reduce office consumption as the paper that generates the registration forms of people requesting bibliographic copies, customer service such as loans from library resources, registration of lost materials, teacher records than using library computers and recording the use of the library room.
In addition, students and teachers can review information from the library in an easy and agile way from their mobile devices since the SGB will have a web service to consult the library resources that are available and general library information.
The Library Management system will have a three-layer architecture, which is comprised of the presentation layer, business layer and data access layer. The same will be developed in Java programming language, Glassfish as an application server and Postgresql as a database server. |
