Sumario: In the canton Cayambe, in the basin of the Pisque river, there is the Pumamaqui irrigation ditch that distributes the water for the different livestock and agricultural sectors where it is necessary to measure the instantaneous flow, for this reason an electronic transducer is built considering all the necessary variables for the construction. The analyzed variables are: temperature, humidity, water speed, height of the water mirror, which are processed in an Industruino card by means of an industrial ultrasonic sensor, obtaining an average in liters per second for the calculation of the flow and visualized in an LCD screen (liquid Cristal Display) by Industruino. The data is stored in a microSD memory for subsequent extraction by the observer. The system uses solar panels and a 12-volt battery for its power supply and ensures prolonged operation. When the electronic transducer is installed, the necessary tests are carried out to verify the operation showing satisfactory results and are compared and verified with traditional methods.
