The main objective of this work is to design and build a drying tunnel using UV varnish
On chapter 1: Theoretical Foundation, general information is collected, specially everything about the uv varnishing process for example, the different types of varnishes and uv inks taking on consideration it’s features and composition. In this chapter is gathering information on the most important parts for the construction of the drying tunnel as are: UV lamps, glossmeters and the alloy reflectors aluminum – titanium. Everything arises relating to the construction of the machine in regards to the profiles, power transmission, the rollers with their respective vulcanized and bearings.
On chapter 2: Selection of alternatives, tabulation is performed on all the possibilities that are presented to the drying tunnel construction with UV varnish, giving a corresponding score to the best options and select the best alternative in the different processes of construction of the machine. Also a compilation of all the formulas is done to be used in the design process.
On chapter 3: Calculation and Design, the respective calculations of the different elements of the machine are performed remembering the results of Chapter 2 and the items available in the national market.
On chapter 4: Costs, drying tunnel system with UV varnish prices are analized considering several alternatives for establishing the final cost of the project
In the conclusions and recommendations can be noted that at the end of the design it is determined whether the stated objectives were fullfilled in this research and respond to the hypothesis raised concerns.
For the system design, drawing was done in the autocad program version 2010 used to generate planes, based on proportionate measures provided in previous chapters. |
