Sumario: Pintag's parish, located south-east of the province of Pichincha, within the Metropolitan District of Quito, is disclosed to all and sundry as "Land of the cowboy, the condor and the wild bull". It is part of the buffer zone Antisana ecological reserve, endows it with the best provincial moors and becomes the main source of water supply for South Quito. It also has a number of natural attractions which together with the customs and traditions of its people, makes a parish with cultural and scenic diversity. The interaction between nature and parishioner population have led to a major transformation in the model of economic development, leading to the so-called local development, generating different environmental impacts of the change of use of natural resources, in addition, the lack of efficient environmental control by the relevant authorities and lack of environmental awareness of local authorities and population, demonstrates the need to implement a new management system, in accordance with current environmental regulations. For the above, this paper of titration proposes possible solutions by identifying and evaluating environmental aspects and impacts and Environmental Management Plan in relation to these, and socialization with the authorities of decentralized self-government (DSG) and to be considered during the decision making in the search for sustainable development of the parish.
