This study presents the anthropological, theological fundamentals of the Pontifical Magisterium taking as a reference the Apostolic Constitution of the Supreme Pontiff John Paul II in Catholic universities (Ex Corde Ecclesiae) and the Latin American Church documents issued from the CELAM.
This research was intended to investigate the degree of incidence of the anthropological and theological foundations in the University pastoral work. It has conducted a survey aimed at the authorities, students and teachers in the Area of reason and faith. To obtain qualitative information, we have used the technique of the focal group, involving the academic coordinator, the Area coordinator of reason and faith, and its professors, the coordinator of the department of pastoral, pastoral agent, the coordinator of the ASU and the president of the FEUPS in Cuenca-campus-headquarters in order to profeli guidelines and direction of its future activities in the field of Campus Ministry according to this situational reality. |
