Sumario: This research is a descriptive, correlational study about collaborative learning in everyday activities with professors in Philosophy and Pedagogy Career in Salesian Polytechnic University during 2013. The main problem that this research was based on is the prevalence of individual learning strategies of professors’ activities even though the University sets a pedagogic model according to Critic Pedagogy’s percepts, social constructivism and cooperative learning; which shows that UPS is led by social constructivism but some professors still strengthen individual techniques. The main objective for this research was: to know and to analyze reasons that minimize cooperative learning strategies as a tool for social growing and professors’ activities. The research sustains theorical and epistemologically the main topic considering that this means the support that the socio-cultural Vygotsky’s theory provides through central concepts related to meddling, scaffolding and close development zone, as long as Bertalanffy’s systems and complex thinking.
