This study: "Implementation of a manual of good environmental practices for a technical infrastructure department at ASINEL company", initially focuses in productive process description, identifying tasks, activities, processes; including inputs, tools and materials used to accomplish it service. This investigation analyzed the advantages and disadvantages related to resources optimization, the environmental impacts and the operational costs. For this purpose, a valuation model was elaborated (Leopold matrix) according with the process, considering each activity and describing the environmental aspects in each operation, dimensioning all the environmental impact parameters: energy consumption, air, water and soil pollution; that relies on, the frequency, volume, energy efficiency; to achieve those goals, an advance management tools was used.
As a result of the comparative indicators of performance, it was obtain the basic features needed to set an adapted model management, that allows the inclusion of good environmental practices. Finally, in ASINEL company was implemented a manual that tries to warranty a comprehensive environmental management system in this specific services area. The results balance for this company showed positives impacts in economics and environment aspects, because of the resources optimization: reusing, classification, recycling and waste management, using certificated companies for this purpose, under safety work conditions. This investigation might be seen as the first step in the appropriate implementation of an environmental policy, with a vision to be a sustainable company, been responsible and conscious with the employees, suppliers, customers and environment. |
