Sumario: This project is designed to benefit the Residencia Universitaria Indígena (RUI), based on a survey of information about infrastructure and services currently account and in that way satisfy needs presented. Within this work you can find analysis and design of the campus network and the RUI border, the problem presented is the lack of line of sight for communication in a point to point link, handling equipment and lack of aesthetics, and these factors affecting network performance. Our design Cisco's business model is based to ensure a scalable and reliable network for residents of the RUI applying the PPDIOO (life cycle network) methodology. Relocate new points for the antennas with a line of sight without unobstructed according with the increase of students also new equipment connectivity are incorporated to improve the data-rate transmission and access to Internet service, for greater security and protection in all production equipment, new data points for administrative staff was adopted. The project ends with positive results for students and administrative staff ensuring greater bandwidth, a good interconnectivity between the UPS and the RUI with minimal packet loss and TSS (Technical Site Survey) to apply to future wireless coverage.
