Currently the use of light emitting diode has grown rapidly due to the characteristics of low cost, low power consumption and high efficiency. The communication system using visible light exploits these advantages provided for lighting and data transmission. The purpose of this project is to study the communication system by visible light and their designs that contributed to the implementation of the prototype.
For prototyping VLC communication, the system consists of two main components a transmitter and a receiver. The transmitter is a card Ethernet Shield which is mounted to an Arduino Mega 2560 and agreed to an LED lamp, the receiver is an Ethernet card Shield which is mounted to an Arduino Mega 2560 for receiving data will be by the photodiode.
Finally, the experimental results were analyzed, they took into account the parameters of transmission speed, bandwidth, delay, by the statistical tables can be defined advantages and limitations of the data transmission by visible light. |
