The aim of this feasibility study is to set up “Hydropastos” company, which is going to
be about the production and commercialization of foodstuff for minor cattle and pets
(guinea pigs and rabbits), elaborated with green hydroponic forage offered in a fresh and
dehydrated way, for which a marketing study has been carried out to the breeders of
guinea pigs, rabbits and cattle, determining the potential market of the product in
Pichincha, Tungurahua, Cotopaxi and Imbabura.
The idea of this project came out from the need of counting with fresh pasture suitable
for all the farm animals througthout the whole year, in reason of periods of nutritional
deficit of pasture, or counting with poor soils due to the unfavorable climate conditions
that now a days are caused because of the global warming, considered as a good option
the green hydroponic forage as highly digestible nourishment replacing the use of
balanced food with its high protein content. |
