Sumario: This document shows the development of a client-server system, which using GPS technology and Google Maps can manage any fleet of public vehicles. The main objective is to avoid the bunching effect, to control dispatch times and arrival times to stops of a route by the units. The client application for drivers allows controlling distances among units by issuing proximity alerts and controlling times by reporting the time they pass through the stops. There is also a server that has a database where information received and / or sent by customers is stored. The Geoportal is created for administrative purposes, it allows registering and searching drivers / buses / stops / routes, entering dispatch tables, generating reports and tracking in real time the vehicles that circulate through the fleet. Normal, load and stress tests are done to know the performance of the system taking into account that the hosting server and Google services are free. Finally functional tests are also performed to verify that the system does all activities correctly.
