This study examines the contributions of philosophy of history from a general framework, and through a process of analysis, incorporated in the debate antroplógico of our continent. In this way, philosophy gives theoretical and methodological concerns. Anthropology in Latin America faces several challenges, the most challenging, are related to methodological and epistemological renewal that account for the needs and realities of this continent. In Ecuador, after forty years of development of this discipline in the academy and professional work is urgent discussion and reconsideration of several issues central to this social science, including history, culture, the subject and under study, and ethnography as suitable and adequate instrument for ethnological collection and interpretation. |
