The quality as well as the leadership comes from concepts studied at the enterprise level, productivity, to move them to the educational environment, it becomes elements that have the sole purpose of ensuring the achievement of learning. Leadership of an educational institution is one of the parameters is part of the school management is therefore necessary to place the school management within a model that guarantees the quality of education, since the models allow to establish dimensions and indicators for verification, stating that the quality of education is anchored in leadership that the characteristics of transformational and instructional styles, reaching what authors like Bolivar, Murillo called distributed leadership.
This research was intended to analyze the institutional leadership in a particular school, the Education Unit "Santa Maria Mazzarello" within school management to determine the quality of education. The research is framed in a descriptive design, not experimental and field. A theoretical review of leadership in business and then focus in education and identify leadership styles in educational institutions that can be measured is made. Subsequently school management is defined from an approach that separates it from the education management and defined as the set of internal processes of the school, the same whose primary objective pedagogy. Finally, we proceed to establish that it is the quality of education, and how to how to measure it in the research population. |
