Sumario: This paper presents a problem that deals with the modeling of transmission lines, which has the purpose of analyzing the behavior of these elements during the transient events. The development of this model by its nature involves mathematical methods that have a nonlinear nature. This is why the present work will use the Model of J. Martí also called Frequency Dependent Line Model, which has a great application within the Analysis of electromagnetic transients in electrical transmission systems, due to its complexity to be analyzed in the time domain, for its development will be used computational tools in conjunction with the Laplace Transform since they are widely used for this study. With the Laplace transform what will be done is a change of the domain in time to the domain of the frequency for a better modeling. Finally, a case study is presented in order to analyze these effects in a digital way.
