Sumario: The document refers to the design and construction of equipment to automate the TIG welding process perimeter for cooling radiators caps transformers of the RVR factory. Chapter 1 contains the basic concepts of welding equipment that will be automated, the process from manufacture of the trayst to weld and the concepts of the components necessary for the automation. In chapter 2 the selection of best alternative is performed, being based on the parameters of costs of manufacture, safety and operation, to achieve the displacement of the torch. Chapter 3 describes the design and construction of the structure , which involved rails have vertical and horizontal translation, where, with the help of ball screws, the TIG welding torch runs around the perimeter welded trays. Chapter 4 covers the manufacturing cost analysis both in manpower , materials and supplies , which were presented in the preparation of the machine. Additionally, a manual operation that allows the operator to verify the functionality of each element that makes up the team was prepared.
