Sumario: The flower industry in Ecuador has become one of the most important sources of incomes in last two decades. This has been possible thanks to suitable climate conditions which makes our country an ideal place for the growing of flowers: Ecuador owns a huge variety to choose from, approximately 60 types. Currently, 2.000 hectares of flowers have been intended for this purpose. According to Central Bank of Ecuador, the flower – growing sector has increased in 20 % annual. With this background, the goal of this research project is generating work tools in order to increase the exports toward Russia and in the short term, that country becomes the main market for Ecuadorian flowers. Also, it is expected the number of consumers raise and the product placement improves with the correct strategies.
