The purpose of the present titration work is to carry out a technical study for the automatic centralized control of the boiler system in the Esmeraldas II thermal power plant, with the aim of giving a clear solution to the problems that have been presented by the current control system. they operate in this area of the plant, many times the shift operator takes over the switching on and off of the valves, which can cause a malfunction, on several occasions forget to open the valves that allow water to enter the boiler at the moment indicated, has caused the combustion gases that enter the body of the boiler to reheat the internal pipes and get damaged, this prevents the operation of the boiler. In the present work, a complete characterization of the entire boiler system and a P & ID plan has been made, to propose the simulation of a general control of the ignition and shutdown of all the valves, including the recirculation pump and the 3-way damper that allows the entry of combustion gases. With the simulation in the LabVIEW program, the operation of the proposed automation can be observed, improving the time of the process, avoiding also damages caused by human errors validating the proposed design. |
