Sumario: The development of the Pictorial with Pop Up technique on the characters of the festivities of Quito, is a visual media that responds to a social need aimed at young people, educators, artists, publishers and others. Who may rely on this material as a resource, recreational, educational counselor and it is also easy to use and understanding. Approaching a Quito full of history that recreates his people, from everyday, religious and legendary performances, showing a traditional setting in the Centro Histórico, home of the mestizo-indigenous population through its cuisine, dance, music as the heart of the festivities. For this, the descriptive qualitative methodology, and illustration were the techniques discussed in this product, which was exposed as theoretical support the concepts of communication, culture, tradition, symbolic representations and multiculturalism to the culture of Quito. In order, to bequeath to future generations of knowledge about indigenous roots of quiteño past, and to respond to concerns about the illustrious characters of the city, developed a visual copy: Revista Quito Kiosko as support and integration to form or lay the foundations for a future citizen about characters Quito festivities nineteenth and early twentieth century, which remain in force in the social memory, and pays tribute to them in the festivities.
