Sumario: The present academic article shows the development of an investigation process, which has as goal to systematize the communicational initiatives that approach the problematic situation of street sexual harassment, a gender violence form that affects the social wellness. The study objects are the campaigns called: “Quiero andar tranquila, calles sin acoso” promoted in 2011, “Cartas de mujeres” promoted the same year and “No más cruces rosadas” in 2015. The investigation studies ¿how the communicational posts are conceived into the campaigns against the street sexual harassment? through qualitative method including in its analysis the theoretician perspectives of Daniel Prieto (2000) and his categories to analyze the message, Alfonso Gumucio (2011) and the importance of communication into social changes, and Wilbur Schramm (1959) and his proposal about the collective communication model. The main conclusion is that until nowadays, those initiatives don´t have generated higher changes related to the street sexual harassment because the violence rates are the same as before, just the campaign “Quiero andar tranquila, calles sin acoso” gave the first step making it visible as a social problematic situation and intervening into the local public politics. This is the reason why it´s considered necessary from this kind of campaigns to give a correct treatment to the communicational post projected, not only from the social and cultural experience of the city, but also, from the individual experience knowing that each habitant has his or her own sense of life.
