Induction heating is a well-known technique to produce very high temperature for applications. A large number of topologies have been developed in this area such as voltage and current source inverter. This paper compares the harmonic distortion contained in the wave of voltage and current generated by Induction cookers.
The theoretical description explains the bridge inverter operation topology and multilevel inverters topologies, giving greater emphasis to the results of simulations performed in Matlab to present a comparison of the harmonic content and total harmonic distortion obtained. Particularly to verify the advantages of using Induction cookers in domestic and establish the effect caused to the mains. |
