In the present documentation, an investigation of the Ecuadorian technical regulations on the digital terrestrial television service was carried out, as well as a previous comparison, research and analysis with the Japanese-Brazilian standard and several technical aspects carried out by international companies’ expert in the field of radio frequency, radio bradcasting and specialized measurement equipment for DTT (digital terrestrial television) in different formats at global level such as Rohde & Schwarz.
The obtaining of information and necessary documentation of the ISDB-Tb Brazilian and Ecuadorian regulations for the realization of a technical audit and a corporate analysis of the most important and relevant technical aspects such as the MER, composition and syntax of the tables that form the BTS, calculation and comparison of the networks_ID and service_ID in the televisión channels that opérate in the city of Quito.
The investigation and analysis was focused in the MER parameter (modulation error rate), wich is overriding in the radiofrequency part for an optimal trasmission in the service DTT, which establishes the technical norm for the digital terrestrial television broadcasting service in the Arcotel-2015-0301 resolution, a MER more or equal to 32 dB.
Another of the parameters that were investigated and checked as a study center were the tables that form the BTS at the output of the multiplexer, the compliance of all these parameters are used so that the stations provide an optimal sirvice of DTT to the city of Quito. |
