This thesis seeks to show, through the evaluation of technical analysis systems of distribution and power sector, how the business of energy distribution in the country has evolved from being a natural monopoly to engaging in the common benefit and shared with consumers.
From the beginning, establishing conditions in which quality parameters are in benefit of the consumers the new Ecuadorian Constitution seeks to covert the people needs, asa public service the government is working in meet all the basics needs and requirements.
Based on internationals laws, also the “Ley de Regimen de Sector Eléctrico” (LRSE) and Regulations issued by CONELEC as a supervision and control, several indices have been established to allow access to the desired level of quality for electricity service delivered. This is done according to experiences of other countries had in the same matter. |
