In this work, one realizes the design and construction of a parabolic solar collector, whose principle is to concentrate the energy that radiates from the sun before its transformation into heat through optical procedures. Thus, solar radiation that enters a hub collector through a particular surface is reflected, refracted or absorbed by one surface area less, to then be transformed into heat energy. The important advantage of this type of collector is first and foremost the reduction of the thermal receiver losses, as with less surface there is less area for the radiation of heat and therefore the liquid flowing through the receiver may heat up at higher temperatures with a reasonable return and at one lower cost.
For this, there are different analysis and calculations required for the construction of the receiving parable of heat radiated by the Sun, designed of the gear set for tracking the sun in it’s trajectory and as the system moves to an end. |
