Through this study we collected in a way basic inputs in the field of intercultural studies education in a non-traditional model can cause. In addition we have analyzed how these contributions intercultural can configure a form of decolonization of thought as a critical stance to the model of western civilization imposed on American soil during the conquest and subsequent colony. We can find in the course of the thesis that the money collected in the field of investigative work is giving way to the critical anti-colonial and demonstrates in simple traits as the intercultural programming of revitalization of traditional knowledge in various fields of life such as food, health, housing and socialization are a way to become more free beings, less dependent on the logic of rational Occidentalism, capitalist consumerism and the modern colonial inheritance; five hundred years after the arrival of Europe to territory of the Abya Yala (America). This work is not intended to be the end result and its conclusions far less, become the path to follow, this thesis research has as its mission be submitted as a contribution to the expansion of a larger process of alternatives to traditional education.
