The present study was conducted in Eloy Alfaro District Police of Quito with the cops
who, work there, with whom we have investigated and determined the causes of
occupational accidents, the degree of injured police servers, frequency of police work
accidents and evaluating the real cost that these accidents occur.
Research shows that the main causes of police work accident in Quito is: fatigue,
carelessness in their work and other causes. Other causes relates to traffic offenses
committed by others in circumstances where the cops come to a call for help from the
public.
The evaluation cost of the most common occupational accidents police was performed
using the NTP540 method "Cost of accidents at work" assessment procedure National
Institute for Safety and Health at Work, adapted to the National Police of Ecuador,
later was made contrast the real cost of professional police accident with individual
and employer contributions to social security, study showed that while newer the
server is more expensive professional police accident as the contributions are low
relative to the cost of accident professional. |
