Sumario: This project aims to design and simulate a sandblasting cabin with grit recirculation by the method of suction to use in 4 inchs gate valves in order to assist in the surface cleaning due to their widely usage in shipbuilding especially in firefighting systems. The steel, in constant contact with the salty sea water creates corrosion difficult to remove by traditional methods where the procedure is performed outdoors, polluting the workspace air and wasting the grit therefore this system has been developed for grit consumption surface cleaning optimization by reusing it. The system works with grit steel as it has a greater reuse margin than others commonly used in the same process. The document consists of two parts. The first is the design of specialized programs focus on development of pneumatic circuits and structural calculations and the second part refers to the simulation using specialized software which emulates the operation of the machine and will show data from the different devices in use. Finally, conclusions and recommendations are presented in order to set a standard in the machines development for future redesign or optimization
