Sumario: The present study makes an analysis of the application of public policies for the textile sector, focusing the research area north of the city of Quito in the period 2012-2015. The methodology applied was of explanatory and descriptive type, where important information of the textile sector is evidenced from the application of the surveys to MICROEMPRESA in the north of Quito, also the analysis of data found by research techniques proved that the ecuadorian government of ex president Rafael Correa, seeks to boost the productive matrix of the country with which imports of finished products that can be produced by Ecuadorian industries and that can sell for both the private sector and the public sector through the shopping portal do not increase public. This study has made it possible to determine that MICROEMPRESA in the sector must have a flexible production structure that allows them to adapt to variations in production, so as not to waste resources and optimize processes, satisfying current and future market demands.
