The technological advancement that is observed today, motivates a large number of companies that base their businesses in industrial processes to seek alternatives for managing data networks and monitored by specific security systems and control; showing positive results on productivity and resource optimization. Easy SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) to integrate industrial processes are a viable alternative because of its effectiveness and wide range of hardware and software, can be used in local and global critical processes, giving immediate solutions in real time.
The industrial communication networks are a key factor in SCADA systems are designed to transmit large amounts of information in real time, from a workstation to the ground or another station. In modern industry is located in the "Industrial Ethernet" network known as the trend of communication to be elected in industrial processes due to its open interconnection scheme, its efficiency in the exchange of large data volumes of information, and low cost of interfaces required in their implementation.
The project presented below is based on the industrial process stored and retribution pieces; controlled and supervised by a SCADA system implemented in a computer for storage station or warehouse Modular Production System (MPS). To this a solution based on "Industrial Ethernet" between PLC Siemens and network monitoring system is generated.
